Diesel 911: the number-one emergency-use product for diesels for decades
There's a reason why Power Service Diesel 911 has been the number one emergency use product for diesels for decades Nothing Works Better or Faster

Diesel 911: The #1 Emergency Use Product

Proven – by the generations of diesel operators that swear by Diesel 911.

Diesel drivers know how quickly things can turn bad when a fuel-filter plugs in cold weather. Fuel-filters plug in winter for two reasons: (1) ice and (2) wax.

ICE

All diesel fuel contains water. Even the clearest fuels can contain up to 60 ppm water. This water is completely dissolved and does not cause icing or other water-related problems like corrosion and microbial growth. Once the water content reaches a level where the diesel fuel cannot keep it dissolved, it will start to form small water droplets that are dispersed throughout the tank. These water droplets are what turns diesel fuel hazy. When temperatures drop below 32F. these tiny water droplets become tiny ice droplets that accumulate on the fuel-filter, causing it to plug. The chemistry in Diesel 911 can prevent this from happening in two ways. Hydrogen bonding makes water more soluble and increases the amount of water the diesel fuel can hold safely. It also lowers the freezing point of water, thereby preventing ice from accumulating on filters. Diesel 911 also can melt ice on contact when added directly to a fuel-filter that is already plugged.

FUN FACT: Some products that claim to work the way Diesel 911 does are not soluble in water — you can check section 9 of the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to see. If it’s not soluble in water, it can’t lower the freezing point of the water.

WAX

Diesel fuel contains paraffin wax that solidifies in cold weather and accumulates on fuel-filters. Ideally it is best to use an antigel product like Power Service Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost to keep fuel from gelling in the first place. But cold weather can sneak up on even the most seasoned diesel drivers. Diesel 911 will reliquefy gelled fuel and get your vehicle back on the road faster than any other additive on the market. When Diesel 911 comes into contact with gelled fuel, it immediately starts reliquefying the fuel and allows the engine to run and get warm fuel returning to the tank. It is important to treat the fuel with an antigel to prevent fuel from gelling again.

Like all Power Service products, Diesel 911 was developed and is continuously vetted by our own state-of-the-art research and testing laboratory.

All Power Service diesel fuel additives are registered with the EPA and are safe for use in all diesel engines. Each bottle has complete directions for use on the back label to make sure you are treating your fuel with just the right amount.

  1. Diesel 911 is an emergency-use product that drivers have relied on for more than 2 decades.
  2. Know with confidence that you are using the best and fastest-acting product to reliquefy gelled diesel fuel and de-ice frozen fuel-filters.
  3. And, it is safe.

Keep a jug on hand, just in case. There’s nothing worse than having a gelling problem in a massive storm and all the Diesel 911 is sold out.

This Power Service customer says it better than we could!

My understanding of “Pixie Dust” was that it was a fictional substance. It’s not … it exists in Diesel 911!!! My 2017 Silverado Duramax was sitting in sub-zero temps for three days, -5F ambient temp and -30F with wind chill. Truck was not started during that time frame and sat in driveway. When I finally started at -5F it only ran for seconds and stalled. Fuel was not previously treated. I put in Diesel 911, and like magic after just 15 to 30 seconds in the fuel tank the truck started and KEPT running!!! Amazing how a bottle of this stuff could de-gel 30 gallons of fuel in seconds. Saved my bacon!!! Thank you … Mike, Poconos, PA
